The answer is yes! But if you’re in the New Haven area, it’s easier to just come down and pick up your furniture right from our warehouse. And if you decide to go this route we’d be more than happy to help you load the furniture into your vehicle or moving truck. If you live in Connecticut we can deliver your furniture right to your door. The cost will depend on how far you are from our warehouse.

Now outside of Connecticut, you’ll need to arrange for a shipping company to handle the move for you. For more information on our shipping policy–and a reliable freight shipping company, you can visit our shipping page.

Here at UHL we realize the importance of used things. And few things retain their value more than used cars–as just about any dealership will tell you. Gambia is the smallest nation in mainland Africa. It’s a poverty stricken country whose people often have to go without basic amenities. David White, along with Washington & Jefferson College professor Buba Misawa, have been trying to change all that. They’ve been able to provide aid in various forms, like donating furniture to classrooms, and ice machines to keep fish fresh longer. Not long ago David White even opened a second Universal Hotel Liquidators in Gambia, providing much needed jobs and affordable furniture.

Recently, David White and Professor Misawa returned to provide support for Tendaba Village. David White and other volunteers helped hand out soccer uniforms and equipment bags to aspiring athletes of the village.
